Storyboard for team website
Our website must have six pages total: 2 from each of us, and then the two required pages. What are your plans for the storyboard. I think it might be easy to stick with what we have sort of done with our lesson plans. For instance, I could do one page on types of birds in Michigan, and another on what attracts birds to a habitat. What were your lesson plans and digital story about?
Lesson Plan 2
I was curious what you were thinking about for your next lesson? Do you know if it has to be the same grade level as before? I was thinking about taking students outside, and having them in a 15 minute period, check off how the different types of birds that are within our habitat.

Blog Title
Hello all,
I have gotten various emails from our professor stating that I needed to change the blogs name to my name? Please correct me if I am wrong. Just went ahead and changed the name. I am finally back on a computer rather than just on my phone so I hope I did this okay.

Google Maps
Students from both classes will choose three states along the map, either in the United States or Canada, and will see if the three birds they learned about from their Pen Pal are located within these states. Students will also research the state bird of each location as well.
The map stretches from Kalamazoo, MI to Anchorage, Alaska, and will pass through multiple states within the United States, and will also cross into Canada.

Lesson Plan
We have a lesson plan that is due on Sunday. We aren't allowed to use the same topic or else we will both lose credit. I was waiting for others to post their topic before I chose mine, but want to get the lesson completed soon because of the holiday weekend. I have started my lesson, and chose to do classification of birds by characteristics.

Evaluating Websites
Hey guys, we have to review three websites a piece for one of the assignments this week. The explanation of this said we need to discuss what type of websites we will need for our project. I would say anything that relates to building a habitat. We can try to be more specific and try focusing on one of the branches. I am going to do this assignment tonight, and will post the websites that I am going to use on here when I am finished because we cant use the same websites.

Concept Map
We have to create the concept map using one of the websites that was provided in the module. I am trying to download this, but am having trouble. Lets put all ideas here for each portion, and then we can put it into the map.
Our main idea is Building a bird habitat:
Branches:
Materials needed to build habitat-
Types of Birds in habitat-
Structure of habitat- Shelter(birdhouses, trees, shrubs, that are condusive for birds to live),
Food and water deposits- plant trees that provide food for birds, some that bear fruit, nuts, seeds, etc. If these aren't available, provide bird feeders to help the species thrive in the area. For water, you could dig a small pond, or chose an area that has a ravine or small pong already on it. If these arent availabe, you can provide bird baths.
Miscellaneous things: Cost, who will help build it, the time it would take to build, etc.
These are just my ideas, but I think we should really start putting this together because it is due by midnight tonight.

Hello All,
I will be taking look at the examples tonight and post some ideas about our "big idea" for our concept map. I don't know much about birding or what exactly I should look for and do but i'll take a shot at it! Rough draft of our Concept Map is due this Sunday, the 19th!
