I will be taking look at the examples tonight and post some ideas about our "big idea" for our concept map. I don't know much about birding or what exactly I should look for and do but i'll take a shot at it! Rough draft of our Concept Map is due this Sunday, the 19th!

ReplyDeleteYou might consider your big project as building a bird habitat at the school .... or you could create a bird museum. You need to start on figuring out what the big project will be \.
What about our big concept could be building a bird habitat, and everyone can take a specific part of that and create that portion on the map?

How about one branch can be the equipment needed to make a bird habitat, what type of habitiat we are looking to build( types of birds wanting to attract), and important features needed for the habitat to be functional? I was thinking for the last part it could be, shelter, nesting areas, clean source of water(possibly a small pond or birdbath), different types of foods needed.
ReplyDeleteI like the idea of dividing up the requirements of birding to the basic needs for each group member but I am confused how to list or draw out the basic needs and where to post them!
